Our Rockets came through for Southwest Legacy as they collected food items for our SWISD Food Pantry. The food drive was turned into a friendly competition between grade levels to see who could bring in the most amount of food to be donated. The reward, one hour of free time given to the grade level with the highest number.
It was a tight race, but in the end 1st and 2nd place was separated by only 21 food items. 6th grade in 1st place with 346 items, 2nd place went to 8th grade with 325 items and 7th grade brought in 142 donations!
